In this chapter, we’ll take a look at the last two terrestrial planets. The story here
revolves around habitability. Venus, despite its similarities to Earth, is harsh planet
where surface temperatures can melt lead. Meanwhile Mars shows evidence of past
water flows on its surface, yet today is a cold virtually airless planet. We’ll look at this
a bit closer and see how these two planets have developed to their current states.
