What are the functions of glial cells? Differentiate optic nerve from optic tract. AA7 What is the optic chiasm? AA7 What is the function of the enteric nervous system? Know the parts of a neuron (axon, dendrites, cell body, axon hillock, node of Ranvier, myelin, synapse) and their functions. What are Nissl bodies? Differentiate unipolar, bipolar, and multipolar neurons. Know the functions of the following neuroglia cells AA7 Astrocytes Schwann cells Microglia Oligodendrocytes What is the Blood Brain Barrier? What cells make up the glial cells of the PNS? What are their functions? Know how the following ion channel functions: AA7 Ligand gated channel Mechanically gated channel Voltage gated channel
