Purpose: This study examined the relationship between cancer history and healthcare utilization among Asians residing in the United States. Methods: A cross-sectional analysis used 2011-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data, focusing on the Asian demographic. Multiple logistic regression analyses evaluated the relationships between sociodemographic characteristics, cancer history, and healthcare utilization outcomes. These outcomes included self-rated health, healthcare usage during the previous year, overnight hospitalizations during the previous year, and the establishment of a routine healthcare facility. Results: A total of 2,956 Asian participants were included in our study. We found that cancer history significantly influences self-rated health, the frequency of healthcare visits, and the likelihood of overnight hospital stays. However, it…

Question is based on the following passage.
LaGuardia VIP (Log... NY
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in our society. Cancer is a disease in which a
cell in the body loses its sensitivity to factors which regulate cell growth and division. The
cell begins to multiply without restriction, creating a growing mass called a tumor, which
interferes with the structure and functioning of the organ in which it is located.
Frequently, cancer cells become metastatic, meaning that they travel, settling in a number of
places and giving rise to secondary tumors. Much of medical research is devoted to finding
ways of preventing, controlling, and curing cancer.
When would it be correct to reject any proposed cure for cancer?
S
O A. if it was not able to alter the ability of cancer cells to metastasize
O B. if it was based on surgery,…

Study Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to develop a narrative description of the underlying meaning of a mother's lived experience of parenting a child with food-induced anaphylaxis (FIA).
Study Methods:
Six mothers of children 6 to 12 years of age who were considered at risk for FIA were recruited to participate in the study. The number and type of food allergies varied, but peanut was the most common. Two in-depth interviews, each lasting 11/2 to 2 hours, were conducted with each mother in her own home. The interviews, which were audiotaped and then transcribed, focused on what it was like for the mothers to have a child with a life-threatening food allergy.
Key findings:
"Living with risk" was identified as the essence of the mothers' experience, and was supported by 5 themes:
1. living with fear
2. worrying abput well-being
3. looking for control
4. relying on resources
5. it is hard, but it is not.
Each theme was supported with rich narrative descriptions from the…

One of the health problems that you identifhed in the Cantoria family is the immunization status of the youngest member of the family, Baby Jellaine. They have not been going to the health center since the Dengvaxia issue. Baby Jellaine has not received measles vaccine yet. Based on your in depth interview during the second level assessment, the family nursing problem that you identified is the "inability of the family to decide on appropriate actions to take." What would be the focus of the interventions?
Explore with the family the benefits of complete immunization status of Baby Jellaine.
Increase the family's abilty to take care of the sick member of the family.
Discuss with the family the consequences of inaction.
