Economic and Political Environments Comparison
Section One
Data is crucial when making business decisions as it can provide insights about consumer behavior and market trends. According to the Harvard Business School, making business decisions on a data-driven basis can help you make confident decisions, become more proactive, and realize cost savings. Not all data points are weighted the same when applying them to business decisions, some data points should be weighted more heavily than other, when looking into expanding to a foreign country, some data points that will be extremely helpful to make business decision include: political system, economic classification, and we definitely want to gather lots of date regarding the culture so we can learn what type of customer behavior we will be dealing with. According to the Harvard Business School, “politics can enormously impact business… political leaders often make decisions that impact labor laws, education, transportation, and taxes, which in turn, influence business… so before expanding your business, it’s critical to ensure it’s prepared for globalization.”

Section Three
Ranked from most appropriate to least appropriate:
1.
Mexico.
2.
Germany. 3.
Argentina. I ranked these different countries this way because I think it would be easy for a U.S company to easily introduce a product to the market in Mexico as both countries have strong ties when it comes to trading, and since both countries are together in several organization, it makes them easy to trade, I also
think that Germany would be a good country to introduce our product to as it has a good economy that would help us generate good revenue for our product; however, there are more trade barriers, lastly, we have Argentina on the last place as it has an economy that is not in such a good position right now, which can make it difficult for the product to succeed.
