The emphasis on strong communication and collaboration and improving the employee experience are the main reason Knapp Automotive should make the change to the “flatter” organizational structure. By changing to a “flatter” organizational structure, we would not have to “reinvent” the company structure, but we would be putting the correct people in place to achieve similar results in shorter time frames with much less effort and resource allocation (Morgan, 2015)
. Knapp Automotive would do this by still having a centralized office, but making the other tiers geographically based. By placing the emphasis on geography, we are able to truly market to our customers what they and need, rather than making wholesale changes to all vehicles in all markets. The geographical locations will give those lower level employees within that region to have more reign when it comes to be being innovative and creative, as they would have senior officials within the area who are willing to listen and make decisions on the ideas they are being

Business Insight..Temp-To-Hire
Companies are continually challenged to maintain an effective work force while controlling cost. Payroll expenses
typically account for 30 to 50 percent of company expenses with some companies spending much more. Human
resources managers are challenged to find ways to hire qualified, productive personnel while keeping costs down.
In difficult economic times, the challenge is even greater. Companies must be cautious about hiring new employees

company does not want to risk committing to a new permanent employee. Another approach, known as temp-to-hire,
adds the possibility of full-time…

Therefore, when one theory does not fit a particular situation, it is important to explore the option of developing a new theory that would lead in a new, more applicable direction. While some theories can stand the test of time, other theories may grow to be irrelevant and new theories will develop in their place. EXPLAIN.
