Restaurant Name: Dairi-O
Restaurant URL: https://dairio.com/
Dairi-o is a fast food restaurant located in King, N.C. The first restaurant opened in 1947 as just a place to get a good hamburger and a milkshake, and became a popular hangout spot for young adults and families. The types of food served range from hot dogs to giant milkshakes. Even though it is considered a fast food restaurant, the food is made to order. Therefore, it may take a little while to receive your order. After 56 years, Dairi-O decided to expand their menu to include soups and salads, and in 2006, the first sit-down restaurant was opened in Rural Hall, N.C. In 2009, healthier food options were added to the menu which included wraps, pitas, and veggie burgers. The patron demographics include families with young children, senior citizens, and young adults. Many of the patrons live near the restaurant and frequent it on a regular basis. Most of their business is received from 6:00pm until 9:00pm on the weekends. During the warmer months of the year, many patrons will enjoy their food on the outside patio, or during the colder months, they will eat in the dining area inside of the restaurant. If the patrons decide to use an online ordering system, some of the patrons may be at a sporting event with their children or about to leave the office after a long, and busy workday. The online ordering system will make it convenient to order online and quickly pick it up at the restaurant without waiting in line, or have it delivered to their home or office.
