Discussion Board- Reflecting on Bias 1. Briefly describe your problem statement and the topic you have chosen for your individual Doctoral Study. The DBA business problem is the issue of what strategies leaders use to implement customer growth strategies, which makes strategy implementation successful for an organization. To achieve long-term success and profitability for an organization, strategy implementation is essential. Nevertheless, many strategy implementation processes are not working for various reasons. To gain a better understanding of the various factors that contribute to the successful implementation of strategy within an organization, DBA Research intends to resolve this issue by conducting a qualitative study. 2. Analyze any potential biases, assumptions, and attitudes that may impact your Doctoral Study, including how you identified these issues. One of the assumptions that could have a negative impact on my doctoral study is the assumption that existing information on the topic of the study may lead to a bias against any new information that may be generated during the data collection process (Saunders et al., 2019). In addition, the ability of respondents to provide accurate information in fear of going against what society wants to hear may be influenced by social desirability, which may be a form of bias (Chenail, 2011). In addition, personal prejudice in favor of the study could arise from questions related to previous experiences relating to the research subject. It might achieve specific results (Pannucci & Wilkins, 2010).
3. Explain potential strategies for addressing and limiting the negative impact of your own biases, assumptions, and attitudes on your study. Be sure to provide scholarly examples to support your explanation. One strategy for avoiding bias in the study is to start by assuming that I know nothing about this subject. Therefore, it will be helpful to refrain from making conclusions based on my knowledge of the field under study from previous experience. The strategy shall ensure that no manipulation of the results obtained in this study is carried out to achieve the desired result. References Chenail, R.
