BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT ANALYSIS REPORT 1 Business Environment Analysis Report There are many factors that can impact TransGlobal’s plan to acquire Company A or B. In this report, six different factors will be analyzed to show how they could potentially impact our business environment using the Pestel Framework. Political: Acquiring one of the two airline companies could possibly involve regulation changes. This could negatively impact the acquisitions plans and the current internal business environment in regard to international travel. If regulations are put in place that would require the removal of current destinations; that would have a negative impact on our business. However, regulation changes could have the reverse effect and potentially allow us to service new destinations. Economic: The economy plays a major role in the success of our business. If the economy is high, then our clients will be more likely to purchase vacations. However, if the economy is down then prices will need to increase and customers will be less likely to spend. Sociological: The pandemic had a major impact on the way people traveled, which in turn had a large impact on our business. Since the pandemic trends have begun to return to normal; however many clients are still scared to sit in close proximity with strangers. Implementing proper protocols to allow customer peace of mind to start traveling again is of utmost importance. This should help get more clients to return to doing business with us. Technological: Implementing platforms with mobile ticketing, apps, and automated systems would allow us to attract a larger client base. We would be able to offer a more comfortable flying experience

We should also consider extending our services for clients to be able to find activities, lodging, and transportation at their destination. Environmental: Transglobal has a goal of increasing fuel efficiency within its aircrafts. With an acquisition and upgrades to our aircrafts, we can reduce our carbon footprint. This would have a positive impact on our business with brand awareness and we can build customer loyalty. Legal: The acquisition could require licensing and other regulation that could have a positive or negative impact on our business. They could open or close travel destinations for us to be able to offer. They could also affect our acquisition choice based on current travel locations.
