Self-Assessments (SA) help to understand where they stand with the situation, especially in leadership. These types of assessments assess the strengths and weaknesses of an individual. For example, the LPI self-assessments taken a few weeks ago helps to evaluate where leadership skills they hold. The outcome of this assessment was to see where they are and what they can improve on in a leadership capacity. In addition, SAs helps with the placement of entry-level employees. The placement allows us to see where and what the individual can contribute personally and to the team.
I scored the lowest leadership behavior in "Enable Others to Act." The results surprised me because I have been told so much in my career that I can get people around me to do what is needed. Evaluating this result shows me that this is a weakness, not a strength. I give the situation and allow people to decide what they feel is right and wrong. A re-evaluated approach to people and situations is necessary to create a bridge to form a cohesive bond. I want to create and develop trust within my team. By building trust, help is available for others to become more confident and comfortable understanding the company's vision.
The importance of this skill is more related to leading others means that you can foster collaborations with employees and managers to build and facilitate trusting relationships with managers and employees. Not having these relationships puts a strain on the company. It makes it difficult to properly do your job because there needs to be trust within the company. The impact is far more significant than the manager's ability to lead you in the right direction.
The leadership behavior that I scored the highest on was in "Inspire A Shared Vision." Achieving the highest in this behavior means I can show and enlist others to share the same vision of the company. Being an effective leader in this category helps the staff to understand that there is a greater goal that the company itself is trying to achieve. Understanding the

Some leaders are more flexible in applying a wide range of leadership styles, whereas others are more consistent and generally use just one or two preferred behaviors. Consider if two strong individuals begin a new company and discuss the following:
If two diverse individuals, each having a different leadership style, were tasked with effectively co-leading an organization, what potential conflicts might occur between these different leadership styles?
How will their personal leadership styles influence the organizational culture?
How would you recommend that these two leaders work together most effectively?

The path-goal theory of leadership emphasizes the importance of leaders clarifying the path to goal attainment for their followers and providing the necessary support and guidance to help them achieve those goals. According to this theory, effective leaders engage in behaviors that remove obstacles, provide incentives, and offer support to facilitate the success of their followers. These behaviors may include offering coaching and feedback, setting clear expectations, and adjusting their leadership style to fit the needs of individual followers and the demands of the situation. By actively supporting their followers in overcoming challenges and reaching their objectives, leaders can enhance motivation, satisfaction, and ultimately, performance within the organization.
Question: How can leaders effectively tailor their leadership behaviors to the specific needs and preferences of their followers, while also maintaining consistency and clarity in their approach?

Scenario: Leading and managing are two very different things. Being a manager means something more than gaining authority or charge over former colleagues. With the title does come the power to affect company outcomes, but it also comes with something more: the power to shape the careers and personal growth of subordinates.
According to Steve Keating, a senior manager at the Toro Company, it is important not to assume that being made a manager automatically makes you a leader. Rather, being a manager means having the opportunity to lead. Enterprises need managers to guide processes, but the employees—the people—need a leader. Keating believes that leaders need a mindset that emphasizes people, and the leader’s job is to help the people in the organisation to be successful. According to Keating, “If you don’t care for people, you can’t lead them” (Hakim 2017 n.p.).
For someone who has been promoted over his peers, ground rules are essential. "Promotion doesn’t mean the end of…
