Topical Outline Audience Analysis: My audience consists of two middle ages African American single mothers and one college-aged single mother. One college educated who doesn’t attend church, one other high school educated who attends a non-denominational church in East Baltimore and the final one who has some college education and attends a Baptist church. Each are employed, but directly connect to relatives and friends who are unemployed. Topic: The life coaching profession offers a major platform with which one can exercise the biblical principle of encouragement and empowerment towards a mass audience from various backgrounds and experiences (1 Thessalonians 5:11; Hebrews 3:13; Hebrews 10:23-25; Ephesians 4:29; Proverbs 27:17). To inform my audience of the influential position that a certified life coach and/or inspirational speaker holds given opportunities to reach a mass number of people in one setting. Introduction: I.
Attention-getter According to Angela Goodeve, Professional Life Coach; Board Member with the Women for Change Coaching Community; and Cofounder of Energy of Yes, Life Coaching is not about giving advice but using their skills to uncover the hidden truths that are typically right there inside every person (and perhaps just need to be gently “teased out”).

Motive for Listening Imagine a career that provides an arena conducive to impacting and empowering lives on a major scale. As a life coach you are not only changing the lives of others, but your life will be profoundly changed as well. Helping your clients to move through their optimal levels of functioning. You will facilitate holding their vision for the future as you work together to develop new strategies for achievement. III.

Main Point 1. Life coaching in comparison to general training has proven to be more valuable and effective. a.
According to a study published in the Public Management, training alone increases productivity by approximately 22.4% while training combined with weekly life coaching increases productivity by 88%.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) conducted a study that produced statistics proving the effectiveness of coaching. For example, here are 4 benefits identified by clients from an ICF survey: 80% of clients improved their self-
confidence, 73% of clients improved their relationships, 72% of clients improved their communication skills and 67% of clients improved their work-life balance.

According to the 2009 ICF Global Coaching Client Study, “companies that use or have used professional coaching for business reasons have seen a median return on investment of seven times their initial investment. Individual clients reported a median return on investment of 3.44 times their investment.

According to the International Coaching Foundation (ICF), people hire a life coach because (1) they want more, (2) they want to grow and (3) they want it easier.

A life coach helps their client to (1) identify his or her values, that will supercharge his or her energy and inspiration to meet his or her goals; (2) identify any needs that the individual has that are not being met to ensure he or she does not have any energy drains in his or her life; (3) acknowledge who a person really is, what he or she has accomplished, and what he or she may be becoming; and (4) finally by helping an individual to gain the clarity he or she needs so that personal answers to questions being asked about the present or future are crystal clear, including the steps needed to take along the way to fulfilling any expectations or dreams.

Studies have shown that clients who have employed the expertise of a life coach have learned to face issues that accentuated excuses; come to the realization that the path they were taking was not what they really wanted; learn to remove the responsibility for tasks that weren’t necessarily theirs; and compelled to take action towards changes to make work better for them.

Main Point 3. The job of a life coach presents a major platform conducive to reaching a mass audience for the purpose of spiritual empowerment through practical application and scriptural fundaments.

God values the uplifting of our fellow brothers and sisters (1 Thessalonians 5:11; Hebrews 3:13; Hebrews 10:23-25; Ephesians 4:29; Proverbs 27:17) and the b.
God desires for “all men” to possess and operate with wisdom (James 1:5; Ephesians 5:15). c.
God speaks against procrastination and in turn encourages us to “seize of the day. (Luke 9:62; Ecclesiastes 9:7-10). Conclusion: I.
