CEO Question 1: How profitable are we in each region? a) Insert below a screenshot/ picture of the corresponding Power BI visual for this question. b) Select the type of visual you used from the drop-down menu: c) Answer “The What?” in one sentence. This summarizes your main finding from the visual prepared based on the data. The south region is by far the weakest region when it comes to generating profit. Both in total profits generated & in average profit per order. d) Answer the “So What?” in up to two sentences. This puts forward the key implication or takeaway from the finding. The firm must find a way to increase the average profit per sale in the south which is at 15.99 compared to 200+ for all other regions. e) Answer the “Now What?” in up to two sentences. This provides a concrete recommendation on what needs to be done. I believe a potential solution would be to reduce the shipping costs of the products sold in the south region. Their total shipping costs are higher than the east region who has 200k more in total sales. f) Answer the “How to Implement?” in up to two sentences. Small Business and Consumer segments are responsible for the least number of sales at 363k & 357k respectively. d) Answer the “So What?” in up to two sentences. Despite being ahead of Corporate customers in average quantity of order they (small-business & Consumer) still produce only 64-65% of the total sales compared to the leading customer segment. e) Answer the “Now What?” in up to two sentences. I believe that to promote more sales from the low-volume customer segments the firm may want to alter their marketing strategy. f) Answer the “How to Implement?” in up to two sentences. This explains concretely how to implement the recommended action. Create a marketing campaign that targets consumers and small businesses directly and makes your products seem more attractive to them. 4
