communication. This approach believes that organizations should be run like machines. Worker must do labor, and managers must do the thinking. There is limited communication.

workers from mistreatment, because there is order and structure to the communication.

I worked at European Wax Center for a while and when working here we work individually, but also as a team. We worked individually by selling more products and services with
our own personal goals, but also had team goals to reach each
month. I believe in this instance the theory that was used was the theory Y. I believe this theory was used to lead this team because people were very self-motivated and enjoyed the work they did.
How did the specific theory promote positive group behavior and performance?
I believe this theory promoted positive group behavior and performance because the employees were very motivated to work hard and reach our personal and group goals to receive our team rewards each month.
How effective was this theory in leading the team and supporting the team dynamics?
I think this theory was effective in leading the team and supporting the team dynamics because we would have meetings with each employee to talk about our goals, as well as filling out our personal goal sheets every day. By challenging the employees to meet the goals in selling and being the employee to sell the most products and services I believe it really helped everyone stay self-motivated. Cite
