Academic Writer is a popular tool that some academic institutions have adopted to help students transition to writing in APA Style. They have video resources to help teach students. It is cloud based, so there is no need to download and install software on your computer. They also offer a trial, so you may try it out before paying for it. They claim that their software has an extension that integrates into (LMS) Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, and Moodle. (Academic Writer, 2024). A nether excellent tool I found was an APA citation generator. If you have a website you want to quickly site you can
just paste it into the cite generator and it will generate the APA citation for you. They offer this service for websites, books, journals, artwork, blogs and more. This comes in handy when you have many sources to cite. They claim that their citation machine creates accurate citations which allows students to work smarter, leaving them more time to focus on their studies. (APA Citation Generator, 2024).
