: My general purpose is to inform my audience on freedom of speech because it expounds on the sole right for an American citizen to express his or her thoughts.
As Americans, being able to speak freely is a vital component of
our daily lives.

My intended audience for this presentation serves political science majors and communication career professionals.

When addressing my audience, I will have to keep in mind a few
things such as the truthfulness of the message, as well as the respect for others. In regards to social considerations, I will make sure that my message does not convey negatively about a specific cultural tradition and/or ethnicity. When speaking publicly, I will consider being honest, use integrity, respect for others, and have dignity in conduct. When being socially considerate, I will need to be attentive, as well as confident.

In order for citizens decide on how they want their community and society to run, they have to be able to attain

By protecting the first amendment, American citizens are comfortable speaking out which then allows societal
matters to be tackled head on instead of disregarded. Transition:
It empowers individuals to speak against infringements of their rights, bringing attention to abuses, and advocating for change. Without this foundational right, many other freedoms we cherish would be vulnerable.
