Virtual Teams: Absence of Trust
A Virtual team is a group of people who are physically located elsewhere that collaboratively work together to accomplish a set goal or task virtually. Virtual teams have become popular world-wide, especially now during this pandemic. It also allows an individual to
have more flexibility with their work and personal schedules. Virtual teams must be managed very carefully to ensure that they are and remain productive. If they are not managed properly, this will interfere with productivity and allow negative barriers to get in the way. I think the absence or lack of trust is one of the greatest barriers to the productivity of a virtual team. Trust is believing that you can rely on someone or something at any moment and all times. It brings cohesiveness, respect, and effective communication within a team. If you have an
absence of trust within the virtual team, team members won’t be comfortable enough to ask for help when needed or let other team members or let the team leader know when they make mistakes or even admit to mistakes. This can cause for hostile relationship between team members which results in the end task or goal not getting accomplished. One way to avoid this is
to have the virtual team leader introduce himself or herself to the team members by telling a little
something about their background, values, and work ethics. Afterwards, the team leader should encourage team members to do the same. During the beginning of each virtual meetings, team leaders should keep this rapport and relationship building going by having a few of the team members share something about them or what is going on in their daily life (Ferrazzi, 2014). Like personal relationships, work relationships take time to build, develop, and maintain. You can also celebrate birthdays, births, or other important holidays virtually (Lepsinger, 2015). This

The Shining Stars primary school was the recent recipient of a technology grant to source and implement a school management system. The school administrator is not technology savvy and therefore sought advice from three of the board members who were knowledgeable in the information systems and technology field.
One director advised the administrator to purchase an off-the-shelf solution that would allow the school to get the system configured and up and running in a short period with reasonable costs.
The second advised the administrator to invest in the development of a unique system to meet the custom requirements of the school’s administration. He suggested that this would create a closer fit to the school’s needs compared to purchasing software, but will cost more.
The third director suggested using an open-source solution which would have little if any upfront costs but may require some customization.
The school administrator must decide about which solution to go with.

online Application Design in ppt
The main "point" that has to be made with application design is that application design can be a performance issue.
That is right, the way that your front-end and back-end interact can change how good the efficiency of your system is
the biggest thing is that we need to make sure that our front end has spaces for each one of these fields. the front end is the way your user interacts with your database....period. If there isn't a screen to enter grades, then that student is not going to be entering a grade.
On the flip side, you can't see that your system is going to generate a schedule for a student and not have the fields in the back end, it just doesn't work. Thinking about an application is very much an HCI (human computer interaction) way of thinking.
Make sure you include a "clean" page of the screen you are designing as well as a "marked up" version that shows which field the text field (or other thing) is related to as well as a description…

Individuals volunteer their time to carry out the tasks of the organization. Each volunteer may be assigned to several tasks during the time that they are doing volunteer work, and some tasks require many volunteers. It is possible for a volunteer to be in the system without having been assigned a task yet. It is possible to have tasks that no one has been assigned. When a volunteer is assigned to a task, the system should track the start time and end time of that assignment.
The tasks of type “packing” result in the creation of packages. Each individual package of supplies that is produced by the organization is tracked. Each package is assigned an ID number. The date the package was created, and total weight of the package is recorded. A given package is associated with only one task. Some tasks (e.g., “answer the phones”) will not have produced any packages, while other tasks (e.g., “prepare 5000 packages of basic medical…
