1 Objective In this lab simulation, we investigate how the resistivity of a cylindrical resistor depends on its length and cross-sectional area. Using simulations to conduct experiments and collect data.
2 Procedure 1.Part A Take data with the simulation tool that is described in the video"ResistivitySimDataTaking_part1_s.mp4". The procedure to plot the graph from the data table and to calculate the resistivity of the material out of which the resistor is made is described in "ResistivitySimDataAnalysis_part1_s.mp4". 2.Part B Take data with the simulation tool is described in the video "ResistivitySimDataTaking_part2_s.mp4". The procedure to plot the graph from the data table and to calculate the resistivity of the material out of which the resistor is made is described in "ResistivitySimDataAnalysis_part2_s.mp4". 3.Collect the data from simulator “Resistance in a Wire ” for part A and B.
