The resource that is being negatively impacted in this image is surface water.
Do you believe the pollution is from a point or non-point source, and how would you determine this?
I believe this is a non-point pollution source because it’s hard to identify the direct cause of it due to many pollutants that can be the cause e.g. rural homes, factories, farms etc.
What pollutants do you suspect are involved and what are the negative impacts to the environment?
I suspect the pollutants that are negatively impacting the environment in this picture are wastewater, and agricultural pollutants. They disturb the body of water potentially causing erosion, loss of aquatic life and damage to water quality. What pollution process might be occurring?
