Introduction
“Learning involves acquiring and modifying knowledge, skills, strategies, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors” (Slavin et al, 2018, p. 2). As educators, it is important that we not only be attentive with students with learning disabilities but flexible with whatever academic needs they may have. This is vital to educators everywhere because every student learns differently. Regardless of their race, beliefs, or socio-economic background. Education is not only a need but a necessity
that all students should have available to them despite their learning disabilities. Today children have so many challenges that they are dealing with within and outside the classroom. So having differences can be an issue especially when it is out of the norm. A student's differences cannot impact their confidence, but it can also deal with a student's learning styles as well. Diversity is no longer the only challenge amongst students in the classroom today but now it is the students' learning styles. Regardless of how well a student learns they still have an educational need. That is why differential instruction and different teaching methods, and strategies are needed in the classroom today. Other students' needs might not be the same as another students. Some students are visual learners instead of auditory learners. Whatever learner
or disability you may have it is still essential for a student to succeed in the classroom. The importance of having a stellar curriculum and lesson plan in the classroom is crucial to a child’s cognitive and developmental skills. As Christian educators it is with the help of God that we not only embrace but love each students' differences. That is why we are so unique because we are

made in the image of God. A teacher calling is to create a healthy environment for all God’s people to learn, grow, and succeed.
There are several teaching methods and strategies to help both students and teachers excel in the classroom. The teaching methods are not only to help you but to help build the relationship around the principles of cooperative learning. All the skills that teachers need to be effective in the classroom. Students learn from their environment that is around them. That is why it is so important that they have excellent role models around them to direct them on the correct path. Leadership should be a priority when teaching and being a role model to students from diverse backgrounds. Communication, interaction, and collaborating assignments is detrimental in whether a student from a diverse background achieves success in the classroom. Children learn through interaction with each other. “Vygotsky viewed cognitive development as an outgrowth of social development through interaction with others and the environment” (Slavin et al, 2021, p. 53). Children in general are influenced by their environment and the people around them. Both
teachers and peers play a key role in a developing child’s life. Students see teachers as their role models and respected figures in their school and the community.
Qualities of An Effective Role Model
What is considered an effective role model? Having a good role model in a student's life is key to
their success. Teachers are the key to help build students' confidence to do better in their lives and school. A role model is someone that a person can depend on but also look up to help keep them on a straight path. Teachers are the source to help their students and give them an ear to whatever problems they face in their life. An effective role model will not only be there for their students, but they will have all the qualities. An effective role model should embody these things and more. Having willpower, confidence, diligence and being respectful are all the essential

qualities what embodies not only an effective role model but a teacher as well. Often a teacher is the only person that a student meets that they can trust and depend on. Teachers in general say so
many different things to students they wear many hats. For example, most teachers are a student's confidant, friend, listener, helper, leader, etc. That is why it is so important that teachers
be an excellent role model but also leader in the classroom. The Teachers as an effective Role Mode
l
Sometimes teachers are the only positive role model in a child’s life. Students face so many challenges not only at home but at school as well. So, it is heartwarming to have someone who will not only listen but often not judgmental. Many children miss that authority or disciplinary figure in their life, so they turn to the most trusting person, a teacher. Despite the many challenges that a teacher may face in the classroom. Students learn from their teacher's example of how they endure many things like life itself. By watching how the teacher overcome their problems in the classrooms, it will give students hope too. That in general they can overcome anything. If they put God first. Building a good relationship with the students and giving them a safe but diverse environment is what embodies an effective role model.
Teacher responsibility as an effective Team Member
An educator has the responsibility of not only their class but being a good role model and co-
worker as well. Teachers have so many obligations and responsibilities ahead of them that it can be too demanding at times. That is why it is so important that a teacher not only has respect from
their students but their colleagues too. Having a supportive staff is always refreshing and makes things a lot easier. To make sure that everything works and comes together it is vital for teamwork to be successful. Everyone must work together for a common goal. Teamwork is not
