Sarah Mitchell Professor Trexler ENG-111-667BG 24 March 2023 Reading Process Reflection While reviewing the information provided in blackboard and in class, I have learned new ways to study and new reading strategies to help improve my understanding of what I am reading. Becoming an active reader requires you to do something with the material that you have read to help you remember. One of the reading strategies is called PSR which stands for ‘Preview, st udy- read and review’, this strategy is to help you establish a purpose for reading . Purposeful direct questioning before, during, after and creating effective questions about the reading material are very useful and can improve your understanding of the information you studied by a lot. By knowing this, I can study effectively and recall information better when it’s time to apply the information.
