Grand Rising Reflection Ya’Nea Muse College Name:Grand Canyon University Course Number: Unv-103 Instructor’s Name:Kevin S Assignment Due Date: 12/19/23 1
What have I thought? I think the main objective for this week was how to be stable financially and know where your money goes. I feel like this week's topic wanted us to know how financial literacy is important as a college student. The resources that were given this week will help us navigate through our courses. As a college student people tend to assume student should have money due to saving and Al the expenses. Studies show college students tend to spend more money while in college than home, the reasoning for this is called relocating. Some students move away from home while attending college and this now creates travel expenses. In my cases I did not relocate to attend school, I decided to be “asynchronous “meaning completely online.  This helped me save time and money by having the ability to attend in my comfort of my home and state. While some students must leave for their program of study my program offer the asynchronous option to help students financially.  Analyze. The resources this week that we were given went over strategies for students and others to save their money. These strategies include tips on financial stability and literacy to solve situations that require these resources. These tips will help me guide me be stable and save for college. These will help me eat more at home, instead of going out, and spending money on fast food. 2
