iron and nickel. It is also very hot. Mantle: The mantle is the thickest layer of
the Earth. Crust: The outermost layer of the Earth is the crust, which is the

crust. Oceanic crust is thinner and denser than continental crust and is
primarily composed of basaltic rocks.

Describe how seismic waves help to show the core of the Earth being mostly
liquid?
The way S-waves behave when they hit the outer core shows that the
Earth's core is mostly liquid. This is found out by looking at how P-waves
and S-waves bend as they travel through the Earth and timing how long it
takes for them to reach different places on the surface.

Describe the process by which the Earth’s magnetic field is generated.
The Earth's magnetic field is believed to be generated by electric currents in
the conductive material of its core, created by convection currents due to
heat escaping from the core.

Olbers' paradox is a long-standing question about why space is dark despite
being filled with stars. Astronomers estimate that there are around 200
billion trillion stars in the observable universe, many of which are as bright
as our sun. However, the answer is not because the stars are far away from
Earth. Instead, the universe is so old that the light from even the farthest
stars has not reached Earth yet.As the universe is only 13 billion years old,
the light from stars more distant than 13 billion light-years has not reached
Earth yet. As time passes, light from these more distant stars will have time
