Community Christian College Athletics is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and athletic opportunities to an underserved community. They are committed to faith, education, and sports. I chose this organization to volunteer for because I liked the fact that they are shaping the lives of young individuals, particularly those facing economic and social challenges. This organization helps students who may have not had any opportunity like this somewhere else. They help instill values in their athletes that go far beyond playing on the field and I am very passionate about this. I grew up in an area that was underprivileged, and I saw what happened to kids who could not afford sports or to go to college and I am happy to help in any way with this organization. I am passionate about their mission because it addresses a complex problem that I deeply care about the limited access to quality education and sports programs for the disadvantaged youth. Volunteer Responsibilities – 2points List your duties and responsibilities (a list format is acceptable): Assist in maintaining sports facilities, equipment, and gear to ensure they are safe and functional. Weight room management. Support the athletes with water during practice. Make sure the players have their jerseys for practice and games. Help with ticket management at the games. Emphasize and reinforce the organization's values and character development principles with student- athletes. Provide academic support to student-athletes to help them succeed in their studies in the study hall.

My goal is to work for this organization to help contribute to its mission of empowering its student-athletes in an underserved community. I hope that I can learn more about the role of faith, education, and sports with these athletes. I hope that I can have some sort of impact on the students and help them succeed academically and athletically. I hope to contribute to them by completing the tasks that are assigned to me. I hope this in some way lightens the load they have. I hope to provide mentorship if possible and promote this organization's mission and principles to the students. I will do my best to help these student-athletes reach their full potential and make a positive impact on them.
