Topic: Shattering Mental Health Stigma
GOALS: What are our team goals for this project?
What do we want to accomplish? What skills do we want to develop or refine?
The prime goal is to delegate work according to each member's strengths and at
least a 75% or above score in the project. Through this project, we would like to
reduce stigma about the topic and build a safe environment for people to not only
share their ideas but also talk about their concerns openly regarding their mental
health. Furthermore, we would also like to raise awareness about specific mental
diseases. We would like to incorporate communication, interpersonal, and
emotional intelligence skills.
EXPECTATIONS: What do we expect of one another in regard to attendance at
meetings, participation, frequency of communication, the quality of work, etc.?
What responsibility does each group member have?
In this project, we expect each team member to be present at the meeting and
ensure their opinion is valued and considered. In addition, there will be two weekly
meetings for about 15-20 minutes to brush up on the topic and conclude. Lastly,
combining the ideas of each member's research during meetings.
Responsibilities divided for each group member are:
Find a topic.
Pre-work and research work
Combining all the relevant information.
Creativity and designing
Editing and proofreading
Preparation of the presentation
POLICIES & PROCEDURES: What rules can we agree on to help us meet our goals
and expectations?
To meet our goals and expectations, we anticipate efficient time management
towards the group project, and each team member should contribute equally
and efficiently.
CONSEQUENCES: How will we address non-performance in regard to these goals,
expectations, policies and procedures?
We want to address non-performance concerning goals, expectations, policies, and
procedures by self-analysis among the group members regarding overall
performance and discuss their take on the project with our peers. Another step to
improve will be to do thorough research next time. Lastly, to improve our
presentation skills by considering good speech, body language, and confidence.
We share these goals and expectations and agree to these policies, procedures, and
consequences.
