level from above and describe a possible intervention to address the SEM at that level to promote health equity for your chosen group.
A possible intervention to bridge the gap between the African American community and the healthcare system as a whole could be to establish a program with members from the community who are culturally trained to provide culturally sensitive health education, support, etc. This can help to bridge the mistrust in the health community and provide a trusted relationship so people will be willing to get the medical help they need.
