HPI: Patient is a 5-year-old female presenting in the company of her mother for a well visit. Mom reports recent hospitalization for thyroid storm at CHOP. She presented to the ENT for a planned adenoidectomy and during the pre-op visit the doctor notices a goiter and bulging eyes, a large neck mass visualized during intubation. Mother sates she noticed the goiter but did not think it was alarming, her eyes have always been big and bulgy. She is currently taking propranolol and methimazole daily and mom states she notices a significant improvement.
