Assessment instructions Assessment details Instructions Assessment overview The objective of this assessment is to assess your knowledge of the basic structure and functions of the body systems and associated components, and the processes, conditions and resources required by the body to support healthy functioning. Assessment Event number 1 of 3 Instructions for this assessment This is an online or paper-based quiz and will be conducted either at a TAFE NSW campus or as a take home assessment. You will be permitted to use your reference text and learning notes when completing this assessment. Your assessor will provide assessment results and feedback online, or via the feedback form in part 3 of this document. Note: if you are submitting through an online platform, the assessor will give you feedback via the platform. This assessment is in one part: 1. Quiz Questions And is supported by: Assessment feedback. Submission instructions Where possible, complete and submit this assessment online via TAFE NSW online learning platform. Upload all the required assessment files in the assessment area on the online learning platform. Alternatively, hand all required assessment files to your assessor for marking. Make sure you have added your name to the bottom of each page of the assessment. Assessment details Instructions What do I need to do to achieve a satisfactory result? To achieve a satisfactory result for this assessment all questions must be answered correctly. You will have three attempts to achieve a satisfactory result. If you don’t have all questions answered correctly after your second attempt you will be required to wait 24 hours for your third attempt, so you have time to reflect, study and improve. If you If you don’t have all questions answered correctly after three attempts, you will need to talk with the Course Coordinator or Head Teacher who may use their discretion to allow additional attempts. What do I need to provide? Pens, computer and internet access if submitting assessment online at home, learning notes, student ID, optional recommended text as per Course Assessment Guide. Due date Teacher/Assessor to complete as per assessment schedule Time allowed Indicative time: 1 hour Assessment feedback, review or appeals In accordance with the TAFE NSW policy Manage Assessment Appeals, all students have the right to appeal an assessment decision in relation to how the assessment was conducted and the outcome of the assessment. Appeals must be lodged within 14 working days of the formal notification of the result of the assessment. If you would like to request a review of your results or if you have any concerns about your results, contact your Teacher/Assessor or Head Teacher.
