Hope Recovery is dedicated to improving your health and well-being by implementing
several programs for leading healthy daily lives. As a company, we'll start educating every
employee about health risks and giving them chances to improve their quality of life. Tobacco usage is the greatest preventable cause of death in the United States. According
to the US Department of Health and Human Services (2020), nicotine addiction can result in
disability and disease, impacting nearly every organ. According to the United States Department
of Health and Human Services (2020), an estimated 16 million Americans today suffer from a
tobacco-related ailment, with at least 30 people suffering from a serious illness because of
smoking. These severe conditions include heart disease, cancer, lung disorders such as chronic
obstructive pulmonary disorder and emphysema, cancer, and diabetes (U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services, 2020). Excessive tobacco use increases the risk of TB, specific eye
conditions, and immune system problems like rheumatoid arthritis, according to research by the
US Department of Health and Human Services (2020). Hope Recovery is dedicated to the well-
being of its employees by embracing a smoke-free atmosphere, as demonstrated by the risks
linked with tobacco use and the threat to a person's health.
