ABS 415 WK 5 DIS 1
What you wish to achieve is the vision. A mission statement outlines your overall plan of action for realizing your vision. A strategy is a set of methods for leveraging the mission to realize the vision. Objectives are declarations of what must be done to carry out the plan. An organization's vision outlines its future goals. A mission statement articulates the purpose of an organization and its place in society, reflecting its past and present. Organizations pursue goals to fulfill their missions and ambitions. Goals are more precise objectives.
My mission as a behavioral health leader is to treat present social-emotional issues while fostering children's social-emotional growth and preventing the emergence of mental health disorders. I will do this by offering culturally competent, holistic, and wellness-focused services. My goal is to lead projects with integrity, empathy, and influence. Being dedicated to developing
as a leader and providing end users with value-added projects is essential. I aim to assemble and manage an ideal squad in which each player excels at their respective position.
An organization's primary objectives are outlined in its strategic vision, whereas its strategies address the steps it takes to achieve those objectives. A clear and pertinent vision can provide staff members with a common set of objectives, inspiring cooperation in the pursuit of those goals. It links the past and the future. Employees can see how their short-term objectives relate to
the long-term success of the company by viewing this vision. Strategic leaders who are good and
effective possess strong communication skills, active listening skills, enthusiasm, positivity, inventiveness, teamwork, honesty, diplomacy, empathy, and humility. You may already improve
as a leader and assist in leading your team to success by making the effort to live up to these values!
It is believed that there are four different methods of leadership: situational, behavioral, skills, and trait-based. Unlike the other approaches, the characteristic approach to leadership focuses only on the leader and not the followers or the circumstances. The four frame models are symbolic, political, human resources, and structural. Structural focuses on strategy, including task and responsibility clarification, measurable goal formulation, and task clarification. Giving employees the tools and chances to do their tasks well while also attending to their requirements
for interpersonal relationships, personal development, and job happiness are the main goals of human resources. Political deals with the issue of people and interest groups having occasionally divergent goals. Symbolic leadership aims to motivate individuals by creating a sense of significance and uniqueness in the organization's path. inspiring vision and praising exceptional work with company festivities.
Putting my expectations for myself as a leader, my short-term objectives, and their implications for the company's future into one document provides a summary of how I would develop and carry out my personal leadership vision. It will be easier for me to decide what to put in my statement if I write down my priorities, goals, and values.
