Using active reading skills, I will analyze my secondary source from Credo Reference titled "National American Woman Suffrage Association" Published in 2014 by The Readers Companion to American History This source talks about the two groups that came together and formed the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA). This group was formed in 1890 and disband after the ratification of the nineteenth amendment in 1920. It was created when the groups American Woman Suffrage Association (AWSA) and the National Woman Suffrage Association (NWSA) came together in 1890 under the leadership of Cady and Stanton. Events and or historical forces that contributed to the Boston busing crisis of the mid 1970s were the decision of the supreme court case Brown v the Board of Education because this court ruling started the desegregation in schools, the federal court order of the citywide bussing plan because it started the process of integration and continued the process of desegregation, and lastly would be the Civil Rights Act being passed by congress because it helped start the process for desegregation nationwide because it caused an urgency around the nation to end segregation. Three specific consequences of the Boston busing crisis included Boston's instant decline in students, Boston's increased racial violence, and the deterioration of the quality of the public school system in Boston. One piece of evidence from my research that will support this assertation comes from the Library of Congress. This piece of evidence being an account of the proceedings from the trial of Susan B. Anthony on the charge of illegal voting at the presidential election in Nov. and on the trial of Beverly W. Jones .... This evidence will support my claim because it shows how women without the right to vote were treated before the ratification of the 19th amendment.
