2 Scenario # 1 The scenario states that the hotel manager called the local police non-emergency line to report unusual activity of a guest staying at the hotel for several days. A cleaning staff member observed a pair of binoculars sitting on a table and a big duffel bag lying by a nightstand with what seemed to be a box of guns on top of it. The bartender working at the hotel also mentioned the language on the guest's t-shirt, promoting violence against police and other government officials. Therefore, the type of terrorism identified in this scenario is Lone-Wolf . Scenario # 2 The type of terrorism in this scenario is foreign terrorism . Evidence in this scenario shows that some group members have an attachment to people being actively watched due to al- Qaeda ties. In addition, the group members are actively attempting to recruit new members and discussing plans to plant bombs around bridges and tunnels in the member state. Scenario #3: The type of terrorism identified in this design is domestic terrorism . According to the scenario, "known members of a neo-Nazi group, Atomwaffen Division, are discussing a planned attack on a market and other shops frequented by the Jewish community." This attack will be on U.S. soil and carried out by citizens.
