Distinguish between primary and secondary sources.
The primary source is a source like text of law, including other original documents, speeches, diaries letters, and interviews. Primary source is a source like text of law, including other original documents, speeches, diaries letters, and interviews. Data sets survey data census, or data sets survey data census. Secondary sources are things that have come for something not associated with the primary source. So for example, I would
be like someone hearing about the rumors but the rumor was right. It not fully reliable information. Explain why it is important to consult a variety of sources when conducting historical research. Include specific details and examples.
It is imperative that you check with multiple sources to ensure that you are getting accurate information. Odds are that if you are getting the same information from different
sources the odds are that it good reliable information. Or you are getting lied to. Identify one primary
source that would help investigate your research question (include the title,
author, and link to the source)
One primary source Would be a link from the Library of Congress.
1969: The Stonewall Uprising - LGBTQIA+ Studies: A Resource Guide - Research Guides at Library of Congress (loc.gov)
Secondary source for my topic would be from the history.com website.
How the Stonewall uprising ignited the pride movement (nationalgeographic.com)

Choose a current event related to the subject of your historical research question and explain how
they are connected.
I think the most current event related to the Stonewall Rebellion today would be our gay pride, also when speaking about what mental health damages have been done to LGBTQ+ individuals, the later effects of this event is felt in young/mature LGBTQ+ people can be seen in situations like debate about trans gender people and what/who/how they identify. In an article in The Guardian Stonewall spokesperson stated “The right to change one’s legal gender was established in the UK in the 2004 Gender Recognition Act
but it was only six years ago that
Stonewall announced that it would work for trans equality
and apologized for its past failure to do so. Its change of stance has coincided with a period in which the debate, between trans rights campaigners on one side and gender-critical feminists – who disagree with the view that gender identity should be 1
prioritized over biological sex – on the other, has become increasingly fraught and polarized.” It can be assumed that a lack of self-confidence and other underlying mental illnesses have contributed to the PTSD if you would that comes along with dealing with homophobia. 2
