Exploring Interactive Data Sources Data visualization has been impacting the way data is perceived. In the 2nd Century data visualization was used in drawing and other visual ways to investigate what was going on in the world and to use as a record for other historical events. Now data visualization plays an important role in research as it allows healthcare professionals, policy makers, stakeholders the opportunity to investigate data that can help individuals and the communities. Data visualization has evolved from using hand drawings to using computer technology such as graphic visualization (Li, 2020). Using interactive data visualization has many benefits as it can bring together data quickly when information needs to be addressed, it helps individuals look at the patterns that are forming within the data, and helps facilitate large/small amounts of data. In this paper we will compare four different interactive data sources, discuss the benefits and challenges
using geographical information systems and how interactive data sources support public health. City Health Dashboard/FluView
The City Health dashboard contains various data based on location. Individuals are able to plug in the location in which they want data for. Once a location has been chosen it divides the
data into different sections based on health outcomes, physical environment, clinical care, health behaviors and social/economic factors. You are able to identify what type of health issues are present in the city and see what the overall average of the disease is present and how it compares to other parts of the state. Within this dashboard it does not just focus on one topic at hand you can look at different topics that peak interest. FluView is also an interactive data source that provides information based on illness/viral surveillance. It uses surveillance areas like nation, census division, state and regions in which data can be found. There are different types of graphs
that individuals can use to analyze data based on the Influenza virus. The data and or graphs are

updated giving amounts of Influenza that have been detected and diagnosed based on different influenza seasons. Interactive Atlas/ Health Expenditure-Who Another interactive data source is the interactive atlas. This data source gives individuals control of using maps to create customized maps of heart disease and stroke by different factors which include race, age or ethnicity. It provides instructions on how to use the maps, statistics and data source options. Health Expenditure is a data source that presents annual estimates of health expenditure and monitors how resources are used, and are being allocated efficiently. This
information is presented by countries and individuals who need to see how money is being spent in healthcare will benefit from this data source. Comparison Each of the data sources that have been presented are similar in many ways providing information that is beneficial to making change to communities and individuals lives. They provide information for different areas that researchers, policy makers and stakeholders can use to better support their communities and create programs that will help decrease some of the health issues. Interactive data dashboards give health care professionals the opportunity to see the different patterns and trends quickly so that it can be addressed. Stakeholders can use these maps to capture outbreaks that will help them gain a quick insight into what is happening and then use that information to facilitate decision making outcomes (Schulze et al., 2023). Conclusion
Interactive data visualization provides various information that benefits healthcare professionals in helping the communities. It allows them to create content that their targeted

population will understand. There will be challenges to using these data sources such as cost, updating data in real time, and geographical errors that will hinder the data (
