Define 1. System Thinking - a way of seeing all parts, patterns, cycles of a system instead of just certain parts. 2. Collection - A grouping of data in systems thinking to solve problems. 3. Feedback loop - outputs in a system loop back again and again as inputs. 4. Stock And Flow Diagram - A diagram that has stock and flows between variables. 5. Causal Loop Diagram - A diagram with different variables in a systems that show how the variables connect and with links in relation.
Summary Of System The system all starts with a customer placing an order online through LPO’s website. This is a Stock and Flow diagram. The variables for this system are the customer and the associate when the order is placed and received, also associate ships order and customer receives order. After the order is placed then the associate gets the inventory ready for the order, then updates the system for fulfillment. From there the order is packaged, get its shipping info, and then shipped. Order is tracked, checked, and updated. The customer receives the order, associates sends thank you, and send survey for their experience. After all this happens a feedback loops starts all over again with another customer placing an order and an associate receiving the order to pull, prepare, ship, and track. Also, I think there are two feedback loops within the system. One feedback loop with the customers every time they place an order and every time an associate receives an order.
