Eliminating weighing bags at the farm will speed up processing and the weight will be dispersed when the leaves go through processing. Step A and I under processing should also be eliminated., (Bags of tea are reweighed at the processing facility and poor-quality leaves are thrown away). The leaves are weighed in the last step at the farm and do not need to be weighed again. It is costly to continue to weigh products that will be oxidized and lose most of its water content before the final process is complete.
