MANA 201 FINAL GROUP PROJECT SUMMER 2023 OBJECTIVE To apply your knowledge of strategic management to provide a solution to a real-world case study. This project will help you identify and provide specific, concrete solutions to the various problems many organizations face today, based on the theory you have acquired throughout the course. It will help develop the skills needed to identify the organizational problems, research applicable theory and provide practical solutions. Furthermore, you will be developing skills needed to accomplish a goal by working in a team environment. PROJECT Imagine that you are a management consultant group, fresh from completing an “Introduction to Management” course at Concordia University. A local company has put out an open call for all consultant management groups to help them overcome a strategic management issue they are current facing or an opportunity they can capitalize on. Knowing what a great opportunity it would be to provide this kind of service, you immediately answer the call. Your group must be a maximum of five people. Choose a company to provide a full analysis of their situation. The company can be a well-known company or a more local company. You may look at press releases that talk about companies undergoing some strategic issue or an opportunity, or it could be a company that you know, who may benefit from your consulting services. You will be presenting a written report of your solution to the owner/manager of your chosen company. The project counts for 25% of your final grade in the course and consists of a written report – due June 20 th , 2023. 1 B. REDA Management Consultation - At Your Service

MANA 201 FINAL GROUP PROJECT SUMMER 2023 WRITTEN REPORT The written report should use Time New Roman font (size 12), with a cover page and 1-inch margins. The project should be MAXIMUM 2500 words (about 10 pages); excluding the title page and references), double spaced, and use APA style for referencing (this includes both in-text citations and a reference/bibliography page). The final written report will be due at the end of the semester – June 20 th , 2023 at 11:55pm . It should be UPLOADED to Moodle as a PDF file. The written report must incorporate: - Cover page : Names and student numbers. - Introduction of the company : Who are they, what are their products. Don’t forget to include their vision, mission and values. - Analysis of the case : External analysis (PESTI, Porter’s five forces), internal analysis (SWOT) and final problem statement. - Recommendation : Includes the change analysis (chapter 12) used to choose your recommendation. - Implementation (Gantt chart) - Conclusion: overall summary 2 B.
