HIT 220 Case Study 3 Data Dictionary 1. Data dictionary stores data definitions and their values. Therefore, in my opinion, the state “Arizona” is not in the range of acceptable values for the “state” field and the next possible value is being displayed. This lack of “Arizona” value is preventing the correct state from being entered in the “state” field. 2. Margaret is unable to enter the whole phone number because the field can only accept 10 characters. Margaret was entering both numbers and special characters (-) and because of that she ran out of space to type in the whole phone number. The issue is with the fact that a limitation was not set for the range of acceptable values, for the “phone number” field to only accept numbers and no other characters.
