Part 2: Cybersecurity News and Education Resources (Home)
Through doing Internet research, find some resources to help keep yourself up to date as an IT Security
professional-in-training.
1.
Current Cybersecurity News
Identify cybersecurity news sites that provide current cybersecurity news.
Select three (3) you think are
the most useful/interesting and list their names and URLs in ranked order (1
st
site being the best).
Explain
why you selected those sites and why they were ranked in the order given.
2.
Annual International Cybersecurity Conferences
Identify two (2) annual international cybersecurity conferences you think attending would help keep you
up to date. Provide their names and URLs and explain why you think so.
3.
Local Cybersecurity Groups
Identify one (1) local (Greater Toronto Area) cybersecurity community/group you think would help you
connect with IT security community. Provide its name and URL and explain why you think so.
