LO5 Produce project reports, business reports and status reports using standard methods Assignment Your Task Good status reports are crucial for your success as a project manager. Your task is to prepare a ‘One Page Project Status Report’ using all of the information from the provided templates, and your previous assignments (i.e., Risk Identification and Analysis). Instructions Using Module 5 - Project Status Reporting for the OneReport Enterprise Reporting Platform Case Study, the Integrated Project Schedule (MS Excel Workbook provided), and the Project Status Report Template (provided) complete the OneReport project status report for the period of November 15, 2019, to December 15, 2019. Tasks List all work packages on the timeline and complete the timeline for only those activities that are completed ( use Green ) or in progress ( color of your choice ), for all other activities do not show a timeline (no color) but list the activity. Please use the Integrated Project Schedule to see the tasks up to the project status report date. Milestones List all project milestones, indicate the status for all completed milestones, for all other milestones leave blank or indicate as In Progress or Not Started based on the dates from the Integrated Project Schedule.
Calculations a. You will need to calculate the spend to date for Consultant and Vendors ONLY. Do not calculate the costs for FTE’s. b. If the work for a consultant spans 2 months you will need to figure out how much was spent in each month but counting the effort days in the month based on the start and end dates of the task. Although the report is up to Dec 15 th the assumption is that the work will be completed by Dec 31 st . Perform your calculations up to December 31, 2019 . c. For the Vendor, only calculate work packages that have an end date up to December 31, 2012. The vendor is only paid for the work completed. Evaluation: Please see the Rubric on the next page for Evaluation Criteria. Submission: Please submit a completed PE5 Worksheet. Please add your name and student number to the file name of the document you submit. Please use the following format for your filename: PE5: lastname_class day.doc (for example- PE5_Pajotte_Friday.doc) Please submit your assignment on the due date, marks will be deducted for late assignments. Assignment will not be accepted after they have marked and taken up in class. (Please review the late assignment policy). Plagiarism: Plagiarized assignments will receive a mark of zero on the assignment and a failing grade on the course and may also receive a permanent note of plagiarism on your academic record.
