Business Corporations Act (Ontario) is the governing legislation for corporations that do business in Ontario. The statute covers incorporation of the corporation, its capacity, management, shareholders, and various corporate transactions. Business Names Act is the governing legislation stating that no corporation shall carry on business or identify itself to the public under a name other than its corporate name unless the name is registered by that corporation.
Business Records Protection Act states that no person shall take outside Ontario any business records, any account, balance sheet, profit and loss statement or inventory, unless the company or organization head office or parent company is carrying business outside Ontario.

Act.
