As a teacher we need to know as much as possible about each student. ELLs students represent a wide
range of academic skills. We need to be prepared for our ELLs student so we can provide a better education
for them. The more we prepare the better education for them.

How can you use the ELPS and language objectives you listed to support and enhance the effectiveness of
your instruction and increase student mastery of the content?
According to the ELPS and my language Objective that I use to have better understanding of the reading, we
will read aloud the lesson to identify the 3 parts of the story.
When we read aloud, we learn how to hear
our classmates and increase our vocabulary. We understand better the lesson when we hear it from other
people compare to when we read it. The group activities help our students that are afraid to ask. In groups
activities they can compare ideas from the lesson and at the same time to ask any question they still have.
Writing sentence increase our vocabulary.
