IV. Schedule
I. Problem
Scheduling meetings and collaboration can be challenging due to varying time zones but after comparing schedules we came to a set date and time to have regular meetings. Unequal access to technology or internet connectivity problems may hinder our progress but we plan to record each of our meetings so that if one of us fails to make contact we will all be kept up to date. Coordinating tasks and ensuring everyone is on the same page can be difficult with dispersed team members but with our team group chat we keep up with each other regularly. Differing cultural norms and communication styles may impact team dynamics and decision-making processes but it makes for a more in depth report that will reach a broader audience. It's harder
to monitor and address imbalances in workload when team members are physically distant. Building a cohesive team spirit is more challenging without regular in-person interactions so we try to stay in touch as often as our schedules allow us
.
II. Methods
a. Communication Methods
Our team has opted for Facetime and text messaging as our primary means of communication. We’ve established a group chat as our central hub for all communication, providing a straightforward and streamlined method. Additionally, Facetime enables us to conduct face-to-
face discussions, fostering a more personal and collaborative approach to project-related conversations. b. Meeting Frequency and Schedule
Our team has established a weekly meeting convening on Facetime every Saturday at 12:00pm MST. In the meantime, we maintain constant communication through text messages, ensuring that information flows seamlessly. If the need arises for additional meetings, we have the flexibility to coordinate and schedule them efficiently through our group chat. This approach enhances our overall collaboration and ensures effective communication within the team. c. Technologies Used
Our team will be using reliable sources from library databases when gathering research for the report. When creating the report we will utilize Adobe photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc. These resources will help ensure that our report is accurate, thoroughly researched, and enhances its overall quality and credibility. d. Collaborative Tools Used
Our team has opted for Google Docs as our central collaborative writing tool, providing a seamless platform for joint project development. Utilizing a shared Google Drive folder enhances our collaboration, allowing team members to contribute and access project materials effortlessly. In addition to our collaborative workspace, we maintain an active group chat for real-time communication and hold weekly team meetings to discuss progress, address any challenges, and ensure everyone is aligned on project goals. This comprehensive approach ensures effective communication and enhances the overall collaborative experience within our team. III. Research Guidelines

Accountability within a team is important in order to be successful. Team accountability is the

What is the scope of the following project? (2 paragraphs please)
Barbados GIS – The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has collaborated with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, and local business Adams Aquafarms, on a project to train persons in aquaponics. Aquaponics is a sustainable way of integrating land-based fish farming with plant production. Both are placed in a tank, and the set up allows for them to coexist, with the waste produced by the fish fertilizing the plants, while the plants purify the water for the fish. The training, funded by the FAO, will take place at a demonstration facility, located at Adams Aquafarms, Hopewell, St. Thomas. The FAO is currently targeting 30 entrepreneurs and 10 teachers. Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, Kirk Humphrey, believes the project will be “transformative”, as it has the potential to empower Barbadians. “In aquaponics, you have the opportunity to have, at the same time,…

3. General Construction Company
General Construction Company has a contract to build three lower‐income apartment buildings for the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. During the construction of the first building, the Project Manager formed an auditing team to audit the construction process for each building. He asked the team to develop a list of minimum requirements for the projects and use this as a baseline in the audit. While reviewing the contract documents, one of the audit team members found a discrepancy between the contract minimum requirements and the City’s minimum requirements. Based on his findings, he has told the project manager that he has decided to contact the city administrator and discuss the problem. Question: If you were the project manager, how would you handle this situation? How can a customer be assured of satisfactory project completion?
