1)
What does Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) allow businesses to do? What does CSR help businesses do?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) enables companies to incorporate environmental and social factors into the way they operate and communicate with stakeholders. Businesses that participate
in CSR efforts can positively impact society and the environment while also improving their reputation, brand image, and stakeholder relationships. CSR enables organizations to demonstrate their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices, attract socially conscious consumers, investors, and workers, and, ultimately, improve long-term financial performance and competitiveness.
2)
What are some examples of CSR?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) includes a variety of programs that help society and the environment while also aligning with company goals. Corporate philanthropy includes donating to charitable organizations, implementing environmentally sustainable practices to reduce carbon footprint, volunteering or participating in educational programs to support local communities, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and ensuring ethical sourcing and fair labor practices
throughout the manufacturing process.
3)
Why do Millennials and Generation Z want to see more CSR? What trends are changing?
Millennials and Generation Z are becoming more attracted to organizations that prioritize Corporate Social Responsibility, because of their increased knowledge of social and environmental issues. These generations prefer authenticity and purpose-driven efforts, seeking brands that share their
beliefs and contribute positively to society. Furthermore, when these generations gain purchasing power, they shape market trends toward sustainability, ethical sourcing, and transparency.
