The concession stand at the Shelby High School stadium sells slices of pizza during boys' and girls' soccer games. Concession stand
sales are a primary source of revenue for the high school athletic programs, so the athletic director wants to sell as much food as
possible; however, any pizza not sold is given away free to the players, coaches, and referees or it is thrown away. Thus, the athletic
director wants to determine a reorder point that will meet the demand for pizza. Pizza sales are normally distributed with a mean of 6
pizzas per hour and a standard deviation of 3.70 pizzas. The pizzas are ordered from Pizza Beth's restaurant, and the…

On February 12 Peg Jones, vice president for operations and maintenance, called into Stephen’s office and asked to study the issue. Specially, Stephen wanted to know whether the average fleet age was correlated to direct airframe maintenance costs, and whether there was a relationship between average fleet age and direct engine maintenance costs. Peg was to report back by February 26 with the answer, along with quantitative and graphical descriptions of the relationship. Peg’s first step was to have her staff construct the average age of Northern and Southeast B727-300 fleets, by quarter, since the introduction of that aircraft to service by each airline in late 1993 and 1994. The average age of each fleet was calculated by first multiplying the total number of calendar days each aircraft had been in service at the pertinent point in time by the average daily utilization of the respective fleet to total fleet hours flown. The total fleet hours was then dividend by the number of…

MADAME TUSSAUDS
Madame Tussauds is a famous wax museum in London with branches in a number of major cities. It has a lot of famous people made from wax. Wax is a solid substance that becomes soft when warm and molts casily. It comes from bees and is often used to make candles. Many people visit wax museums because the sculptures look like they are real.
A visit to Madame Tussauds wouldn't be complete without meeting the Royal Family. Dating back over ten centuries, the Monarchy has played an important role in the UK. but rather than reading all about it in a dusty history book you'll meet history's royalties face to face at Madame Tussauds! Camp Rainbow offers overnight summer camp programs for children ages 10–14 every summer during June and
July. Each camp session is one week and can accommodate up to 200 children. The camp is not coed, so boys
attend during the odd-numbered weeks and girls attend during the even-numbered weeks. While at the camp,
participants make crafts, participate in various sports, help care for the camp's resident animals, have cookouts and
hayrides, and help assemble toys for local underprivileged children.
The camp provides all food as well as materials for all craft classes and the toys to be assembled. One cabin can
accommodate up to 10 children, and one camp counselor is assigned to each cabin. Three camp managers are on-
site regardless of the number of campers enrolled.
