My Leadership and Management Style
4
Management Review
Servant leadership is an approach to leadership that prioritizes the needs of others before oneself. It involves leading by serving others, supporting their growth, and enabling them to reach their full potential. I believe servant leadership is a powerful and effective leadership style because it creates a positive and inclusive work environment. By valuing the input and well-being of team members, a servant leader fosters trust, collaboration, and motivation within the team. This leadership style also promotes empathy and understanding, allowing leaders to better connect with their team members and address their needs. Overall, servant leadership has the potential to create a harmonious and successful work culture where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Transformational leadership is a leadership style that focuses on inspiring and motivating individuals to achieve their full potential. It involves creating a vision, setting high expectations, and providing support and guidance to help others grow and develop. Transformational leaders are known for their ability to empower and inspire their team members, fostering a sense of trust, collaboration, and innovation. This leadership style encourages individuals to challenge themselves, think critically, and take ownership of their work. By fostering a positive and inclusive environment, transformational leaders can drive organizational growth and success.
Followership

Management Review
In today's dynamic business environment, the concept of followership in management has gained significant recognition and importance. While much emphasis is often placed on leadership, the role of followers should not be overlooked. Followership is the act of actively participating and supporting the vision and goals set by leaders, while also providing valuable feedback and constructive inputs. It involves understanding and aligning oneself with the organization's mission, values, and objectives. Effective followership can foster a positive work environment, enhance teamwork, and contribute to the overall success of an organization. By embracing followership, individuals can contribute their skills, expertise, and ideas to help achieve the collective goals of the team and drive organizational success.

Self-Reflective Paper on “Leading Organization Strategy and Change Capabilities”: Guidelines
2-3 pages
Paper Structure:
Your paper should be a self-assessment of your competencies against the concepts we have covered in this course. Make sure to effectively use the concepts discussed in class that are also available to you on Canvas. While this paper is self-reflective, supporting your personal reflection using terms that show you understand the course content is valuable. In other words, show that you learned concepts taught in the course by reflecting on them in your self-analysis.
Please begin by considering the content areas covered in this class. We have covered:
How to lead and manage change. (Recall the lessons from the four change management articles that we covered prior to the simulation.)
How to establish a “hierarchy of strategic intent” that establishes direction for your organization.
How to track your progress towards your “vision” using a metric system (e.g.…

Dan Grayson felt physically and emotionally spent and was ready for a time-out from his daily office routines. He was a self-identified workaholic with broad experience and knew the responsibilities of his position. He was never given a project that he did not relish doing, but this orientation would soon become problematic. Accordingly, as the number of projects under his purview grew, he became stretched and stressed. Thus, it came as no surprise that he would be waiting with hurried anticipation for the Christmas–New Year break, a week of paid time off.
Generally, Dan enjoyed his position as program director for the Credit Builders Association (CBA), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provided training and resources for low-income clients with credit problems. He loved being able to help vulnerable people establish creditworthiness and have a lasting impact on the lives of others in this way. Although national in scope, CBA had a staff of only ten employees—a…
