TEAM PERFORMANCE REPORTING Quadri Lawal Columbia Southern University Project Stakeholders MGT 6303 Dr. Madueke, Chizoba 19th August, 2022
Performance Reporting Introduction Our project deals with installing automated car wash machines with multiple self-serve vacuum stations at different locations. The objective of this project is to reduce the cost and time required for car washing and to provide a better car washing experience to customers. This project will require the installation of automated car wash machines with multiple self- serve vacuum stations at different locations. Integrated project management is needed when interactions occur between different processes and teams. In the case of projects with competing objectives or scheduling conflicts, integrated project management allows for compromises in terms of costs or schedule to be able to complete the project and meet the expectations of stakeholders (Sweis, Abuhussein, Jandali, Mashaleh & Al-Debei, 2018). What project documents will you use to report project progress? The corporate world is ruled by bureaucracy. Even if the volume of paperwork can occasionally appear overwhelming, we are all aware that there are certain documents and templates that we must have in order to carry out our daily activities. The descriptions of key documents are provided below, which will help us improve our project planning objectives and guarantee higher success with job assignments. Our decision-making process will be aided by this list of crucial documents, which will prevent you from wasting time on irrelevant paperwork. 1. Project Letter
In essence, the project charter is a written contract or multi-party agreement. Project letters are made to formally define a certain development. 2. Project Management Plan The project management plan encapsulates the approach required to manage the project and all associated activities, such as budget, project scope, and timeline. This document, which covers all planning and design documents, can be used as a reference index. 3. Project Schedule Plan One must develop a project schedule plan during project planning to break down the most crucial work into monthly phases. The beginning and finish dates for each phase are essentially predetermined. This specific document will be required access by project stakeholders. 4. Project team plan More information on the duties and responsibilities of each team member and the project stakeholders are provided in the project team plan document. This document will serve as a visual representation of the project based on the work that each individual is doing across all stages of each activity. This document will aid in developing project execution processes that are more effective. The project team strategy will also enable more open and honest communication among team members (Marion, 2018). 5. Project Work Plan
The project work plan is a document that outlines a number of important and crucial elements that serve as guidelines for the project team. The required team member activities, milestones, project timetable, length, expenses for each stage, work packages, necessary resources, and more must all be included in this document. This document also discusses the crucial path that must be followed for the project to succeed. 6. Quality Assurance Plan The quality standards that must be monitored during all stages of production and across the entire organization are covered in the quality assurance plan document. The quality requirements outlined in the quality assurance strategy document must be met by all project deliverables. 7. Project Risk Management Although the project risk plan is sometimes overlooked, it actually ranks among the most significant project planning papers. In this document, project hazards are discussed along with potential mitigation measures. Plans for the best ways to handle hazards as they materialize are also included in this paper (Marion, 2018). How will you present and deliver project work performance reports? The project performance reports (Work Performance Report - WPR) constitute the structured and documentary representation of information on the progress of the work in order to generate decisions, raise problems, arouse actions, or spread awareness. The reports are addressed to the various project stakeholders and highlight in a way that they understand
the direction the project is taking and the necessary corrective actions. The structure and methods of distribution of these reports are described in the project communication plan. The flow of such data, information, and performance reports proceed as follows: Direct and manage the execution of the project and generates data on the progress of the work. Validate Scope, Check Scope, Check Time, Check Cost, Check Quality, Check Communications, Check Risk, Check Stakeholder Engagement processes turn work progress data into status information of work progress (Singh, 2014). What historical organizational project artifacts will you review and include in your reports? Each work carried out with the use of software tools has the effect of generating a more or less large quantity of deliverables or artifacts (hereinafter, they will be used indifferently but always with the same meaning). In its most general sense, an artifact (deliverable) is a product - material or immaterial - resulting from an activity of a creation process. The activity of writing a text can be part of a business process that has the document produced as its deliverable; a video is a deliverable of a video editing process; a logo is a deliverable of a phase of creating a corporate brand etc. What is produced usually is subjected to corrections and refinements; that is, it is subject to a continuous process of revision. The writing of a book is perhaps the perfect example of what has been said. But we can find many other cases, such as the drafting of a requirements specification document (Singh, 2014). A project work contract is a form of coordinated and continuous collaboration carried out mainly in a personal way and without subordination constraints for the realization of one or more specific projects determined by the client. The main feature of project work is that the
