Overview Susan Park, IT Consultant with IT Solutions, Inc., is pleased to submit this proposal for services to support Personal Trainers, Inc., in realizing its goals for improving customer satisfaction by delivering a new system that will provide a better fitness experience to consumers and data support to the corporation. Currently, an average center has 300–500 members and access to an array of fitness activities based on the two membership levels, full or limited (SNHU, 2023). The company will open its first center outside of the Midwest, in Toronto, Canada, making it its first supercenter in another country. After conducting internal surveys of what is needed for the current facilities to operate better with technology and consumer capabilities, Susan has complied with a business plan committed to improving the customer and staff experience through convenience, accuracy, availability of fitness data, and productivity of the centers. Background To establish a technology upgrade for Personal Trainer, Inc., we first must identify the current systems in place. Currently, established members pay by check. This is an antiquated way of membership payment and costs the company money for postage, returned mail, and additional paper billing costs. Receipts are recorded on paper versus a system that identifies merchandise bought and saves to a member record. The current accounting software, BumbleBee, needs to be updated and configured to store detailed member data. The system also does not allow for easier transmission of accounting needs such as billing receipts, and each branch has its accounting software. Also, accounting reports are only available to some to establish a succinct system to produce at once. Furthermore, the system does not report trends and visual aids to show changes to the member’s fitness 2
