Ms. Lakiesha Simmons,
We want to express gratitude that you chose us to consult on the possible partnership between your wellness spa and Dr. Fridhaus Hashim’s medical spa service. The details in this letter will outline both the qualitative and quantitative data, as well as the financial impacts of the partnership, and questions that you should ask. We will also provide recommendations related to the change-management decision making measures you should use, and how you should determine the effectiveness of the partnership once it happens. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, both your business and Dr. Hashim’s business have experienced a 50% reduction. You both serve a unique set of clients and have a loyal following. Combining your businesses to serve both the clients that are looking for medical services and those who are looking for wellness may be a wise business decision. Some things to consider when combining the businesses would be a reduction on overhead expenses for both you and Dr. Hashim. Instead of paying cleaning services, receptionists, utilities, and other monthly expenses for two locations, they could be reduced by roughly half by partnering together, by only having one location. To ensure this merger is not only a good fit for you both, but will be successful, we must make sure you know what metrics should be at the forefront of your mind so that you are able to gauge
whether it is working (Deshler, 2018). Here are some questions you should ask Dr. Hashim prior to the merger. 1.
Once the merger occurs, what will our duties and responsibilities be?
2.
What can I expect of you, and likewise what do you expect of me?
3.
How are your records kept?
4.
What is your leadership style? 5.
Have you implemented any change management processes in the past, if so, what were they and were they successful?
There are various things that you should consider when considering change management decision-making. By ensuring that there is ample communication outlining to your team what they can expect from the merger, you can address any uncertainties that they may have. Once the merger has been completed, you still need to do an evaluation to ensure that change was effective. There are many things that you could use as a benchmark to ensure the effectiveness of the change, such as customer satisfaction, cost reduction and increases in revenue (The Change Compass). Respectfully,
Tiffany Rudolph

According to COSO, which of the following differences relevant to the risk-assessment process is most likely to exist bel large entity and a small entity? O A. O B. O C. O D. The CEO of a small entity is more likely than the CEO of a large entity to be attuned to risks arising from internal factors through hands-on involvement with all levels of personnel. The risk-assessment process in a small entity is more structured than in a large one because of the nature of some of the internal control components in a small entity. An owner-manager of a small entity will not normally learn about risks arising from external factors through direct contact with customers, suppliers, and other outsiders, whereas in large entities this process is part of the entity's primary way of identifying new risk. Risk assessment in a small entity, as opposed to that in a large entity, can be problematic to implement because the in- depth involvement of the CEO and other key managers is a conflict of interest…
