Introduction Creating a personal brand is essential in making sure that your organization has credibility and notoriety. A brand is the pulse of what will make consumers intrigued by your products and to be successful. Top notch companies have their own style of brand and make them stand out from the competition. It is imperative that your personal brand is thought out strategically as well as the business plan synchronously matches with the brand. What is a personal brand? When you think of personal brands you must take into account of the major corporations such as Coca-Cola, Apple, and McDonald’s. Each of these corporations have their own unique brand. Coca-Cola is the premier beverage company that services every country across the globe. Their brand is their colors which bring cheer and excitement. Choosing the colors of red and white reminds you of holiday festivities such as the biggest holiday there is, Christmas. Every individual knows that no other holiday trumps Christmas as this holiday brings in trillions of dollars a year. With Coke spearheading their brand with this holiday it brings them success. Apple has become the world’s most renowned phone and accessory brand, and they did that by being better than the competition. When a consumer sees the white apple symbol it brings joy to them. Apple created a brand on not just creating the iPhone but also the accessories that comes with the phone such as the air pods, MacBook’s, etc. Apple’s personal brand is excitement and innovation. McDonald’s feeds 1% of the world yearly. I have watched the McDonald’s documentary along with other resources that I used to discover that their personal brand are their
golden arches. As a kid growing up that was the first indication that it was going to be a wonderful day. Developing a personal brand that advances both your profession and your life requires careful consideration. A strong personal brand, when used well, may open doors and make connections that have the power to transform lives. Having said that, creating a personal brand is difficult. The finest brand builders are strategic, focused on a narrow niche, and most of all, consistent. You can move around and wing it. Botticello, Casey. (2021, Apr 9). Creating your personal brand does not have to be that complicated, it just must be strategically planned out and dedicating that time and effort to becoming a successful brand. Goals of a personal brand All personal branding goals focus on professional development at some level. For example, personal branding goals might include finding new job opportunities, improving your resume, strengthening digital channels to look better to potential employers, and making more connections and network growth— all personal branding goals related to professional development. Branding Goal Examples. (n.d.). Creating your own unique personal brand makes your company stand out in ways that generates consumers to want to buy your products. Networking with other companies and individuals is the way to build your brand in upward motion. There are several networking events that an individual or upcoming companies can utilize to gain the knowledge needed to learn about the different goals of building a brand. want to buy products that they believe in and making sure that your brand speaks volumes is important. The way to monetize your brand is by creating a strong social media presence, hiring brand influencers to help promote your brand, and by knowing your target audience. While doing market research to see the metrics of how to grow your organization, you utilize social media, and the brand ambassadors are the key to making sure that your brand will grow exponentially. What is your mission or vision? The mission statement is the message that epitomizes your company’s values and beliefs. Mission statements serve a dual purpose by helping employees remain focused on the tasks at hand and encouraging them to find innovative ways of moving toward increasing their productivity with the eye to achieving company goals. When consumers notice your vision and the direction of your company whether it is positive or negative, this will help them decide if they want to exhaust their resources into said company. The mission statement that our company would have been “The value of our consumers worldwide is far more valuably than quick profits, and we think people first, profit second.” This will be the empathy of our company as we would believe that if you treat people with value and respect, the profits will come substantially. Who is your target audience, and why? The target audience would be from the ages of 18-25 as these are the demographics of individuals that are the most active and willing to explore new products. With our brand influencers cracking down on the social media algorithm our product will skyrocket through the
roof. The target audience is what makes up most of your consumers in a specific area and age. Knowing that this audience will strongly suit and support our brand will be great. Knowing the kind of information your followers look for and interact with will help you understand your audience. And you’ll identify their needs and how to approach them on social media. Zote, J. (2023, February 1). Market research will be the key to identifying new demographics and understanding what our consumers need. Being able to investigate in detail the underlying statistics and metrics will be the key to making sure that our customers are being visualized. How will you implement your marketing plan for your personal brand? I will implement strong marketing research strategies as well as create a sequential social media presence. By doing that we will hire the best influencers that are the trendiest on all platforms. We hire an entire social media staff that handle all different aspects of our platform. We do more research studies on our audiences to see if we can deep-dive more information to make our brand more successful. By understanding the value of our consumers and meeting their expectations and needs our brand will grow into the powerhouse that we envisioned. Conclusion In closing, our brand will become the pinnacle of respective sector of business, with a strong social media presence, a thriving demographic, and a mission statement that screams “for the people by the people” such as once said by our past president Mr. Abraham Lincoln stated in the Gettysburg Address. Our brand will reach new heights and create the buzz that we expect. This will change the way that brands are seen in companies as we see them today.
