UNIT 7 ASSIGNMENT 2 Unit 7 Assignment Social media platforms and channels are just as important as the message being delivered. When creating a video, photo, or podcast nothing will be seen unless the message is desirable, and the channel used to broadcast is one that can push the post to the masses. Each channel has its algorithms at which posts and content are moved from person to person and knowing which channel will benefit what post the most is important to successful digital marketing. Lee’s Artificial Flowers needs to begin its social media presence and start two platforms that will be used for video and photo sharing. These two will be used because Lee’s Artificial Flowers is entering digital marketing and need to make a good name for itself, and the easiest way is to start with approved videos and photos that can be shared with the masses to draw them to the idea of artificial flowers. This will also allow Lee’s Artificial Flowers to learn quickly on what content is liked, disliked, or hurts their reputation in the community. When sharing videos and photos, Lee’s Artificial Flowers can quickly correct any mistakes they make without much collateral damage and Lee’s Artificial Flowers has the freedom to be as creative as they want while having low costs. While Lee’s Artificial Flowers using videos and photos allows them to be as creative as they want, it is also restrictive as the meaning behind the created content is up to the customers to figure out. Not only can the meaning or reason to create content be misunderstood by customers but it can also be missed completely and then the content would fail as no one can understand the meaning of the content (Noe, 2021). Content videos and photos will be created about Lee’s Artificial Flowers and what its flowers can do and will be shared with the masses in a way to convince them to purchase from Lee’s Artificial Flowers over any other artificial flower store. The videos and photos created to be shared on social media will garner 100,000 views minimum each, within a week. Any video
UNIT 7 ASSIGNMENT 3 or photo sent to the different social media channels that have not met this goal will be evaluated as to why and a poll will be conducted as to why some content is more popular and has better feedback than others. Content being created will be segmented into two parts, first showing off the product and why customers should buy (ads) and the second informative (updates). These two sections will be done in conjunction with each other to be able to reach as many people as possible while answering their questions before they go to Lee’s Artificial Flowers website for purchasing the product. The target for Lee’s Artificial Flowers is businesses that entertain, families that entertain, and any person who frequently invites others into their home where they would want to have a fresh decor to show off. This will be implemented with one photo and video each week and each week new content is released the traffic to Lee’s Artificial Flowers website will be monitored to see how many people have navigated to it. Based on evaluations and feedback from customers and how each content created has driven customer’s adaptations, changes, or complete overhauls will be made to ensure continued success (Healy, 2018). The videos and photos created by Lee’s Artificial Flowers would best be distributed on Facebook and Twitter. This is because videos and photo content are easily shared and promoted by individuals on these platforms. While using Twitter and Facebook, Lee’s Artificial Flowers will be able to spread their message to the masses and reach as many people as possible all while being able to communicate directly with their customers and answer any questions or concerns, they may have as they have them (Noe, 2021). Lee’s Artificial Flowers social media channel mission would be to spread awareness of their product and to bring new customers to maximize Lee’s Artificial Flowers sales through social media. The goals for the channel would be like the platform except instead of focusing on how many people view and like each content created which drives customers to Lee’s Artificial

The target audience will be the same as the utilization of the platform, anyone who is going to host regardless of if they are a businessperson or in their home. Lee’s Artificial Flowers will be able to provide a stunning décor regardless of the atmosphere or the reason why it was purchased. Lee’s Artificial Flowers Facebook and the Twitter page will be updated weekly with a photo and a video promoting the business and drawing customers to its webpage. Lee’s Artificial Flowers will evaluate its channel success by reviewing the previous year’s sales and current sales each week after the posting of each video and photo as content to bring in customers. To control Lee’s Artificial Flowers content posts on social media channels, the competitor’s social media posts will be monitored to ensure Lee’s Artificial Flowers is always ahead of the next competitor or able to respond in kind to any promotion its competitor can add to social media regardless of type (Healy, 2018).
