Written Assignment Unit 1.
I’ll create a value proposition for Papa Johns that is a pizza brand that sell pizza internationally and locally in my neighbourhood. Papa Johns is known to be among the most popular pizza brands in the world with high level competition such as Dominos and Pizza Hut.
For the 4P’s of marketing the following is the proposition from myself.
Product: Papa John’s offers an incredibly wide variety of pizzas for their customers which has led them to where they are right now positioned in the market. For instance, a value proposition for them in terms of product should be as it follows.
“High end quality pizzas with the best ingredients for a better pizza”
Price: Papa John’s prices in comparison with the rest of the competition is slightly higher than average, this due of course to the commitment to get the best to their customers and offer a good quality product. Their prices are still competitive and are somewhat reasonable due to what you get for the money, nonetheless they still offer some deals and discounts during the week. This is why a value proposition should be as it follows.
"Affordable indulgence - Enjoy our mouthwatering pizzas without breaking the bank, and take advantage of our frequent promotions for even better value."
Place: Papa John’s according to what I have seen is not particularly “picky” at the moment of choosing a place to put a new location. For that reason, they have many places and a network of delivery services that can accommodate their customers to the best convenience.
"Conveniently close - With thousands of locations nationwide, there's a Papa John's near you, ready to deliver piping hot pizza straight to your door or have it ready for pickup when you need it."
Promotion:
Papa John's marketing often includes promotions, online ordering incentives, and advertising. Their value proposition related to promotion could be.
"Feast your way - Stay updated with our exciting promotions and enjoy the convenience of online ordering, ensuring you get your pizza just the way you like it."
Papa John’s started out in 1984 in Jeffersonville, Indiana and since then it has seen changes over their strategies and management.
This company has had a popular reputation thanks to the effort of the founder John Schnatter which gave out everything to start the business in 1984 including the sale of his own car to make the business survive. One special success was the dipping sauce the company invented that no other company had at the time and made them very popular in the beginning.
Also, leadership changes, a rebranding effort to emphasize quality ingredients and customer satisfaction, menu innovation to cater to changing tastes, and a strong focus on digital transformation with an upgraded online ordering system. Looking ahead, Papa John's was eyeing
international expansion, investing in delivery technology, sustainability initiatives, and digital marketing to engage a broader and more tech-savvy customer base.
